Through the County Jail for
Safety & Security Workshop
September 17, 2011.
“I am passionate about my job, and about what the Churches’, of Dickson County are doing here, and it will make a difference!”, stated Captain Young. This jail was declared as being the most dangerous in the state by our inspectors, now that it is no longer so, I attribute this to the presence of the Church at the jail.
The Dickson County Ministerial Fellowship is a local group, of Pastors that are ecunmenical in nature and accountable to God's Word and each other. The Fellowship unamiously recomended the Ogburn's for Sheriff Jeff Bledsoe's confirmation in February of 2011. Chaplain Guy is full time in his ministry to the jail and contributions may be made by sending checks to DCJC at the address listed, or clicking the donate button. Your faith and prayers are essential for the inmates rehabilitation in the Lord. Volunteers are needed that have a heart for this ministry, and there is an opportunity for you to be used!
Please contact us, for your talents and abilities are appreciated, and needed.
